Twila - Head Coach
Twila has over 15 years of coaching experience at clubs in Saskatchewan, Edmonton, and Calgary. She is NCCP Level I certified. As a skater, Twila competed on the provincial level. Twila has been with the CCA Figure Skating Club since 2013.
Jenaya
Jenaya has several years coaching experience for skating clubs and rec centres in Okotoks and Calgary. She is passionate about coaching kids and instilling a love for sport. She skated with the Okotoks Skating Club for 13 years and continues to skate for fun. Off the ice, Jenaya is also a personal trainer. Jenaya joined the CCA Figure Skating Club in 2021 and also coaches the Power Skating Program.
Kristy
Kristy has 7 years of coaching experience at clubs in Calgary, Blackie, and Black Diamond. She is NCCP Regional Coach certified and has been skating since age 3 with 12 years of competitive skating experience. Kristy has coached previously with the Pre-School program, but joined the Figure Skating program in 2021.
Taylor
Taylor has been a skating coach with the City of Calgary and the Okotoks Skating Club for the past 5 years and has received her NCCP Level 1 coaching qualification. She is currently attending classes at the NAIT, studying to be a paramedic with the goal to work as an Advanced Care Paramedic. Taylor joined the CCA Figure Skating Club in 2021 and also coaches the Power Skating Program.
Hockey Buddies Coaches
Emilio
Emilio joined the Hockey Buddies program in 2022. Emilio has been playing hockey for 20 years and has a deep love for the game. He has played hockey internationally and has been coaching for 1 year.
Pre-School Coaches
Danita - Head Coach
Danita brings over 30 years of coaching experience and coaches provincial champion skaters at clubs across Calgary. She is NCCP Intermediate Level III Coach certified.
Sherry
Sherry has been teaching kids and adults to skate for over ten years. As a mom, and a playschool teacher, she is passionate about teaching kids and making skating fun. Coach Sherry grew up across the street from an ice rink, and has been skating for as long as she can remember. As a youth, she competed as a singles skater; then returned to skating as an adult, competing in synchro. Sherry joined the pre-school program in 2021.
