2023-2024 Skating Season Calendar

Important Dates for the 2023-2024 Skating Season per program

Pre-School

Pre-School classes are half year programs and require a separate registration for fall and winter sessions. Fall sessions run from October to December. Winter sessions run from January to March. 

March 12 Registration opens for current club members at 12:00 noon
May 1 Registration opens for the general public at 8:00 am
August 15 Payment due date for fall sessions
October 11 First class: Pre-School fall sessions
December 13 Last day of classes before Christmas break
December 31 Payment due date for winter sessions 
January 10 First Class: Pre-School winter sessions
March 13 Last day of classes for all programs

Hockey Buddies

Hockey Buddies classes are half year programs and require a separate registration for fall and winter sessions. Fall sessions run from October to December. Winter sessions run from January to March.

Power Skating

The Power Skating program is a full year program that runs from October to March with a three-week break at Christmas. 

March 12 Registration opens for current club members at 12:00 noon
May 1 Registration opens for the general public at 8:00 am
August 15 Payment due date
October 12 First class: Power Skating
December 14 Last day of classes before Christmas break
January 11 Classes resume
March 14 Last day of classes for all programs

Learn to Skate - Intro to Figure Skating - Figure Skating

The Learn to Skate/Intro to Figure Skating program and the Figure Skating program are both full year programs that run from October to March with a three-week break at Christmas. All of these programs operate twice per week.

Skaters from these programs are also invited to perform in the annual skate show in March.

May 1 Registration opens for the general public at 8:00 am
August 15 Payment due date
October 10 First class
December 14 Last day of classes before Christmas break
January 9 Classes resume
March 12 Last day of classes
March 14 Dress rehearsal during normal skating hours
March 16 Skate Show - time TBD
